This gorgeous red enamel fireplace was designed by Seattle architect Wendell Lovett for Preway. It appears to be from the 60's or 70's, but this forward thinking design was actually launched in the early 50's.

Complete with screen and pipe extension. Vintage.

Danish Hutch and Next Public Sale

This Danish dining hutch is going to make someone very happy! Beautifully constructed, it features paperwork drawers that are covered up with sliding doors that disappear into the case. It also has those sunken pulls that everyone is looking for. There is some scratching on the top right of the hutch.

It was so great to see everyone at the sale today....there were many familiar faces, and it's always a joy to meet new people that share our love for Mid-Century furniture. Many of you have passed on the word to your friends, and we are very grateful for your support.

I have taken down the inventory that sold today. You can expect to find a fresh selection of inventory at our next sale, which is planned for January 8 from noon-3. I will post new pics over the next couple weeks. If you see anything you are interested in, feel free to contact me and we can set up an appointment. Also, if you are on the lookout for anything, let me know.

A trip to the Mid Century Furntiure Warehouse is so much fun because there are so many fun trinkets and curios tucked away in every corner.

I should also add that we have an extensive lighting and art collection.

Should I have made that Dwell comment? I am feeling guilty because I should probably admit that I subscribe to the magazine. Maybe I am just jealous because I wish I had the money to build one of those homes!
